DISHWASHER: Part-Time Position Available

Scheduling:

 

  • Various shifts to work around your schedule.
  • Variety of shift times starting at 7:30am, 9:30am and 5:00pm.
  • Evening shifts are out before 9pm.
  • Off every other weekend.

Position Title: Dishwasher

 

Position Summary:

 

To ensure the highest quality food preparation and presentation. To ensure a clean and sanitary work environment is maintained.

 

Position Summary:

 

Clean and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, utensils and performs regular cleaning duties.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Sanitation: Clean and sanitize dishes, pots and pans, glassware, silverware and serving utensils, sweep/mop areas and ensure sanitary conditions meet or exceed health department requirements, dispose of garbage from areas as needed/assigned, maintain record of dish machine temperatures and ware washing sanitizer strengths, work area organized, monitor equipment, report concerns to manager, etc.
  • Customer Satisfaction and Teamwork: courteous – the answer is “yes”, food is delivered by dishwashers from the kitchen in a timely manner to the dining rooms during peak meal times.
  • Attend in-service training and education sessions.

 

Position Specifications:

 

  • Works well under stressful/high volume work periods.
  • Ability to read, write, communicate and follow oral and written instructions in English effectively to interpret and explain the menu, refer or answer questions, understand resident requests and resident dietary needs, as well as follow rules and safety requirements.
